Hi there! I’m Katarina, an illustrator hailing from the small but vibrant city of Tallinn, Estonia.

With over a decade of experience as a freelance illustrator, I have cultivated a style that celebrates uniqueness through Atypical, Bold, and Colourful creations — the ABC of my practice. Through my illustrations, I aim to capture both the inner and outer beauty of individuals, portraying them as bold, confident characters inhabiting vibrant worlds where the lines between reality and imagination blur.

When it comes to colors and shapes, I embrace a philosophy of going big and bold. My inspiration usually springs from a rich tapestry of sources – the wonders of nature, the depths of human emotions, the landscapes of dreams, and often the ordinary, everyday experiences we all encounter. And with every work my art strives to become a fusion of all these elements, in its very own way.

I have a keen interest in diverse illustration & design projects, employing both digital art and traditional mediums like acrylics, colored pencils, gouache and more. My portfolio spans book and magazine illustrations, branding and identity design, clothing patterns, prints and beyond.
